Type II Interferon (INFγ) Interferon-γ is the type II interferon. They are produced by the T-helper type-1 cells and Natural Killer cells. INFγ stimulate the expression of Class II MHC molecules in different types of cells. Expression of MHC Class II molecules enhances the phagocytic properties of these cells.
